What is the cost? Our beef price is based on the current wholesale price per pound for swinging (dressed carcass) sides of beef plus processing fees.

How much meat do I get from a side of beef? Pricing is based on the hanging weight, before trimming and de-boning. Standard retail cutting removes approximately 33% of the dressed weight. For example, if a side weighs 300 lbs, you will receive around 200 lbs of beef.

Do I have to buy a whole beef? Our beef can be purchased by the side (half beef), by fourths (half of a full side), or by sixths or eighths. The smaller packages provide you with a proportionate amount of the same variety of cuts. We do not generally sell hind quarters or front quarters separately.

What cuts of beef will I receive? Cutting instructions will be discussed with you when you pre-order. Your instructions will include choice of cuts, roast size, steak thickness, number of steaks per package, and burger and stew package sizes.

How much freezer space will I need?Based on the example of a 300 lb side you will receive approximately four 18"x12"x9" (45cmx30cmx22.5cm) boxes of meat.

Do you deliver?Our pricing does not include delivery. Orders requiring delivery will have pertinent charges applied.

Meat orders can be picked up from our location at times convenient to you. Your meat packages will be solidly frozen when you pick up and, as we are located just 15 minutes north of Edmonton and St. Albert, the meat can be safely transported.

How and when do I pay for the beef?We require cash payment at the time of pick up. Depending upon availability a 10% deposit may be requested when placing your order.
